Victoria’s Mobile Flower Shop
Victoria’s Mobile Flower Shop was a love letter to beauty, community, and everyday moments made special. Housed in a lovingly-restored Japanese mini truck, the shop brought fresh, seasonal flowers directly to streets, sidewalks, and gathering places across Pittsburgh. Part flower stand, part neighborhood experience, it invited people to slow down, linger, and connect.
Launched as Pittsburgh’s first flower truck, the shop quickly became a local favorite — selling out at pop-ups, drawing lines around the block, and becoming a familiar presence at markets, small businesses, grand openings, and community events. Each bouquet was designed and wrapped by hand, with an emphasis on natural movement, thoughtful color palettes, and flowers chosen to feel generous and joyful rather than overly formal.
Beyond the flowers, the heart of the project was hospitality. I ran every aspect of the business myself — from sourcing flowers and restoring the truck, to hand-lettered signage, event coordination, customer conversations, and weekends spent on the road. The shop was featured in local press and partnered with beloved Pittsburgh businesses, but its greatest success was the feeling it created: a small moment of delight in the middle of an ordinary day.
A Few Markers of Impact
-
Grew a brand-new Instagram account from 0 to 7,500+ followers in a single season (March–August), entirely organically.
-
Operated a fully booked inaugural season, with multiple sold-out pop-ups.
-
Sustained demand beyond peak season — supporting plans for a brick-and-mortar shop and culminating in sold-out Christmas photo sessions.
Victoria’s Mobile Flower Shop remains a defining chapter in my creative portfolio — an expression of entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, and the belief that beauty is meant to be shared, right where people already are.
