Floral Freelancing
Ciguë Flueriste - Uzés, France
In July of 2026, I was invited to work with Laure of Ciquë Fluriste in Uzés, France. During the weekend, the studio churned out two Provencal weddings in record breaking heat. The experience was an exercise in flexibility and the need to think creatively. I also practiced patience and humility as I navigated both the language barrier and medieval streets of Provence.

As a freelance designer with Fox and the Fleur, I collaborate within a talented studio team on large-scale floral installations and seasonal projects. Working in this environment strengthens my technical floral skills, speed, and confidence, while deepening my appreciation for thoughtful process, precision, and teamwork.
Supporting complex builds and high-touch projects allows me to contribute meaningfully while learning from an established, design-driven studio. This work sharpens my ability to execute a shared creative vision with care and consistency, and continues to inform my approach to collaboration, hospitality, and design.
